Bridgewater’s Idyllic Italy is a family owned independent company, managed by the Pearson family. We offer a comprehensive range of villa rental properties, character hotels and properties for sale throughout Italy specialising in Tuscany, having built up a lifetime of expertise living and working in the country.

Our love affair with Italy began in 1973 when my husband Barry and I established Bellaglen Villa rentals in Marina di Pietrasanta on the Tuscany coast near Lucca & Pisa. Our business is focused on Pietrasanta, a town of art & artists on the fringes of the Mediterranean where mountains meet the sea. Over the years Bridgewater's Bellaglen has become part of the local community and it’s a pleasure to share this local knowledge with our guests so they are offered the kind of service usually only discovered by frequent Italian visitors to the area. Throughout the year, at least one of the family will be found somewhere in Italy, we see the products and we know the areas in which the properties are located. We choose our villas and hotels one by one, based on rigorous criteria - not just beauty but charm, attention to detail, location and surroundings. Our descriptions are straightforward and detailed because we want you to know what to expect when you arrive. There is nothing to compare with talking to someone who has first hand experience of where you want to go, so please feel free to talk to us, we can tell you more from our own personal experiences than could ever be included within the brochure copy.
