Francis Ford Coppola's film ‘The Godfather' is widely regarded as one of the greatest films in world cinema. Here we invite you to take a private tour of the film's most iconic settings. The Godfather tour will give you the opportunity to explore Sicily as a local and visit some of its' most beautiful villages and breathtaking views.

Your local, English guide speaking guide ‘Roberto' will meet you at your apartment at 09.00 am.
Roberto deives quality Mercedes vehicles for his tours and is renowned for providing a first class service and his expert local knowledge.

The scenic drive will follow in the footsteps of Michael Corleone; Visit Savoca: Various scenes were filmed in this village, including the wedding of Michael Corleone and Apollonia. You'll visit the Bar Vitelli and see the actual table where Michael asked Apollonia's father for her hand in marriage

Next you will head towards a typical Sicilian Village, Motta Camastra, perched up the sicilian hills. (Michael first arrived from the USA to Motta Camastra in Godfather I. )

En route Roberto will take you to Taormina train station which wa sfeatured heavily. He will then accompany you to Fiumefreddo to visit the Castle of Schiavi, - where many of the interior scenes were shot. The courtyard of this castle was Apollonia died and the car was Blown-up.

The owner will be waiting for you give you a guided tour of the castle and provide you with some light freshments.

Afterwards your driver Roberto will drive north, towards Savoca, on route we'll stop few time to enjoy a fabulous panoramic views of the Sicilian landscape.

The famous "Bar Vitelli" is situated in savoca and you will have the opportunity to enjoy a lemon granita on the panoramic terrace followed by a stroll around the town to visit the Santa Lucia church where Micheal married Apollina

Pick up and drop off at a point of your choice in Mercedes vehicle. The above tour focuses heavily on The Godfather part I – however Roberto can craft a tour to suit and visit settiings from other Godfather movies. In addition he can incorporate lunch at a local winery for a supplement.

Duration 6/7 hours. Please note that the entrance fee of Castello degli Schiavi will be 25 €uro per person and is not included in the tour price.

The Godfather tour is only available in conjunction with accommodation through Bridgewater's Idyllic Italy. We recommend the Apartment Letojanni: A bright, spacious apartment situated in a privileged position only 30 metres from the sandy beaches of Letojanni. (A well-known fishing village 7 Km from Taormina.) The property boasts a large, panoramic terrace with magnificent sea views. Comfortable, modern furnishings, wi-fi & air-con. There are restaurants and shops 50 metres away in Letojanni itself. 'God Father' tour in private taxi with English speaking guide available.
