We are pleased to be able to arrange car-hire for you when you book a property through Bridgewater. By all means have a look at other companies but please beware of the prices you are quoted. Often, the weekly price seems much cheaper than our own but you will then be asked to pay for all extras.
Our prices are fully inclusive of the following:
Unlimited mileage, SCDW (no excess) / Theft protection / VLF / Tax No excess in case of accident. One way rental allowed and FREE for groups BCDNEF. Other cars are subject to a fee. 1 additional driver FREE. Extra driver charge Euro: 4.65 + tax /day Tolerance 1h 29.

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Weekly Rental prices are per car and quoted in pounds sterling. Extra days charged 1/7th weekly price Clients will be charged at the rate prevailing on the day of collection of the car. Prices are correct at time of publishing but are subject to change.

NOTES:
1. rentals from mainland to Sardinia and sicily and viceversa subject to a fee. 2. International drop off subject to availability and a fee. 3. Driver: Minimum age 25 years - 2 drivers allowed free. No maximum age. 4. Young drivers (23-24 years) allowed with a local charge of Euro 10.00 + tax per day. Max charge 100.00 E + tax per rental. 5. Excess liability for theft: All groups Euro 600.00 (inc tax).
DRIVING LICENCE:
All hirer’s should be in possession of a valid driving licence held for a minimum of one year. (two years in France). We must be advised of all endorsements at the time of booking, failure to do this could result in refusal of the car to the hirer All persons driving the vehicle must be in possession of their driving licence at all times. In Portugal drivers must also carry I.D., photo and passport, both must be produced at the request of the local authority.
DEPOSIT:
A major credit card is required in all areas as a form of deposit. Cash deposits are rarely acceptable
DELIVERY/COLLECTION:
Charges may apply outside office hours even if a late collection is caused by a flight delay.
PETROL:
Most car rental companies will supply the vehicle with a full tank of fuel, otherwise a refuelling charge and cost of petrol will be charged locally. Alternatively, in some Mediterranean locations pre-purchase of fuel is compulsory.
IMPORTANT: Check which is applicable to you when collecting map.
AMENDMENTS, CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS:
Amendments to a booking are subject to a £15 amendment fee. All cancellations must be made in writing and will take effect only from date received. A charge of £50 is made for cancelled bookings, “no shows” or non receipt of vehicle due to insufficient documentation. No refund will be made for partially used rentals or vehicles returned early.
