Sardinia...stunning coastlines, white sandy beaches and clear turqoise waters! This stunning island (the second largest in the Medieterranean) has an atmosphere and personality of its own. The locals proudly maintian that they are Sardinian first and Italian second. However, there is much more to Sardinia than just beautiful beaches with hidden coves and pretty bays only reachable by boat.

Prehistoric settlements scatter the landscape, and inland tiny ancient villages are surrounded by rugged mountain scenery. The prestigious 'Costa Smerelda', where the Aga Khan's development enhances the superb scenery, provides a truly luxurious and unspoilt setting for the discerning holiday-maker whereas 'Alghero' in the West is a captivating walled town with a strong Spanish flavour.

Food alone is one of the main reasons to visit Sardinia. You will sample some of the best sea-food available in the Medieterranean, excellent local wines, and typical Sard pastries and desserts which you won't be able to say no to!

There are regional flights from Southampton, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, East Midlands and Bristol as well as Heathrow, Gatwick, Luton and Stansted.
