HI Carol, back from lovely Pietrasanta and we enjoyed every minute. Lucy was very kind and came to find us on our first night at the little restaurant up the road as we had had a problem getting from the train station to the villa. (no taxis). Anyway she then very kindly collected us the next day and dropped us at the market and came to pick us up and took us to the bike place to hire bikes. So she really went the extra mile to help us. Carla and Nene were absolutley lovely and made us soooooo welcome. Nene event took us back to the station for our return journey. As you said the Coop was fantastic. So thankyou for all your help and hopefully we shall return.......Take care.....Elaine

The Italian experience is just that, an escape, an adventure, a search for culture. I prepared a simple meal in the neat kitchen, a loaf of bread, a slice of ham, a flagon of local wine consumed at leisure. The sun was high, the mood total contentment. Just a note to say how much we enjoyed our holiday. Pietrasanta is absolutely beautiful, and it was fantastic to sit in the main square and enjoy an Italian beer in the sun, with the view of the mountains in the distance, snow capped.  We did, fortunately, find the central heating an asset as it did cool down at night. Thanks for the first class accommodation Bridgewater fixed for my family in Tuscany.  Il Cerro proved ideal, not only in accommodation terms but also as a location.  We couldn't have asked more of a house situated on an organic farm or it's owner Gloria, who provided a constant supply of tomatoes, pears & strawberries.  Once again, many thanks for all your help and advice in helping make this a holiday to remeber for my family.
