Travelling to Italy means you should stay and visit Pietrasanta. It’s is one of our favourites and specialties within Italy. Situated on the coast of Northern Tuscany, and in the province of Lucca it’s known for its cobbled streets and artists dotted about. Pietrasanta came popular in the 15th century with its marble, and Michelangelo. He was the first sculptor to recognise the beauty of the local stone.
Whilst the main town is buzzing with cafes, creatives at work and quaint cobble stones to wonder. Its golden sandy beaches and clear waters are where it’s happening for most Italians and tourists in the hot sun and it’s not hard to see why!
Although when the sun sets, and it’s time for an evening out, everyone heads off to Twiga Beach Club located right on the marina with views of the night ocean. This is great spot to be in as it’s a restaurant and club so you can dine first, and dance after! Make sure you get a table next to the glittering pool – it’s the best seat in the house. https://www.facebook.com/twigabeachclub
If you’re looking for somewhere close by to stay then why not rent a luxury Italian villa – see a list of villas to rent here; we even have them for last minute bookings. The great thing is, our office is based in Pietrasanta, so if you’re in need of anything we’re only a few steps away.
