Lucy and Nicola – your Bridgewater team wish you all a very happy Christmas and peaceful new year and as we will all be tucking in to our Christmas dinner tomorrow we are asking ‘what do Italians eat fro Christmas lunch’?
There is no singular traditional Christmas lunch in Italy although the courses largely consist of an antipasti, pasta, meat for main, vegetables and traditional desert.
The courses will differ from region to region so we will go with our favourite and specialist region of Italy…..Tuscany.
Here’s our choice of Christmas Tuscan feast:
- Crostini di Fegatini (Crostini with chicken liver pate)
- Tortellini in brodo (Tortellini in broth)
- Arista alla Fiorentina (Florentine roast pork)
- Panforte di Siena (Typical Tuscan sweet / cake)
We look forward to assisting you in the new year
With Best wishes from Nicola and Lucy
